Plot
GEHEIMEN UIT HET VERLEDEN – Stefan en Damon confronteren hun moeder met pijnlijke herinneringen uit hun jeugd, maar Lily onthuld één van haar duistere geheimen die ze voor meer dan 160 jaar voor zichzelf hield. Haar openbaring zorgt ervoor dat haar zonen allen wat ze dachten te weten over hun familie in twijfel trekken. Intussen daagt Enzo Julian uit tot een duel, raakt Matt meer betrokken bij het mysterie rondom de inwoners van Mystic Falls en onthult Valerie levens veranderend nieuws aan Caroline.
