PROM NIGHT IN MYSTIC FALLS — Na het maken van een beslissing die Klaus woest maakt doet Elijah Rebekah een aanbod dat haar leven kan veranderen. Caroline komt erachter dat haar plannen voor de perfecte Prom Night in de ware owrden geschopt door Elena, en vraagt ze een geamuseerde Klaus om hulp. Vastbesloten om Elena over te halen besluiten Damon en Stefan allebei naar Prom Night te gaan, maar de avond loopt uit de hand ondanks hun inzet. Wanneer Elena uithaalt op een manier die niemand verwacht vraagt Matt Rebekah om hulp. Bonnie doet een schokkende ondeking en Klaus ontvangt een bericht die alles kan veranderen.

Damon: “Silas! Where is my brother, you psychic freak?”

Rebekah: “What am I missing?”
Elena: “Silas is appearing to Bonnie as my dead brother. Which means he still wants her to do the spell.”
Rebekah: “So? The nice thing about having no feelings is you don’t fear your enemies on The Other Side.”
Elena: “I’m not worried about my enemies. It’s people like Alaric and Jeremy. The Salvatore brothers are annoying enough as it is. Can you imagine if my brother came back to the living? He’d spend every waking hour trying to get my humanity back.”

Bonnie (to Damon): “Elena’s gone.”
