EEN VERING VAN LEVEN — Hayley confronteert een verrassende vijand wanneer zij en haar baby in gevaar komen tijdens de uitvaart van een belangrijk lid van de gemeenschap. In een poging Hayley te redden schakelen Klaus en Elijah de hulp in van Genevieve, die meer moeite krijgt om Davina en de andere jonge heksen onder controle te houden. Camille vertelt Marcel dat Francesca vastbesloten is een mysterieuze sleutel te vinden dat een familiegeheim kan onthullen Intussen ervaart Klaus nachtmerries over zijn vader Mikael, en wordt gedwongen om beter te kijken naar zijn verstoorde relatie met zijn adoptiezoon Marcel.
