Plot
BLOED ZIT IN DE LUCHT – Klaus en Elijah voeren een plan om de heilige stenen in hun bezit te krijgen die ervoor zorgen dat weerwolven niet hoeven te transformeren tijdens de volle maan, hierbij hebben ze de hulp van Genevieve om het lot van Hayley en de wolven voor altijd te veranderen. Wanneer Marcel zich realiseert dat Klaus zijn plan voor de uitroeiing van alle vampiers in de French Quarter, trommelt hij een leger van vampiers op om de Mikaelsons familie te stoppen en de macht over de stad terug te krijgen. Davina waarschuwt Josh om de stad te verlaten terwijl zij een beslissing moet maken dat de kansen in de oorlog zou kunnen doen keren. Intussen bedreigt Francesca Camille, die probeert een code te ontcijferen die voor een verrassende onthullende kan zorgen binnen de gemeenschappen. En beginnen bij Hayley de eerste weeën.

Klaus: If you fail to uphold your end of the deal, the consequences for you will be apocalyptic.
Genevieve: You say the most romantic things.

Hayley: I just told you that I am betrothed in some backwater arrangement made by people that I never knew. Tell me that you think betrothals are stupid. Tell me that I have a choice.
Elijah: You will always have a choice.

Hayley: Oh come on, Elijah, for once in your immortal life can you not be so noble?

Jackson: [Elijah] really seems to care about you.
Hayley: It’s complicated.
Jackson: I think that’s the understatement of the year.

Klaus: Ok, exercise extreme caution in this general area. A bit of a mess.

Hayley: I hate this, I feel completely useless.
Genevieve: Don’t you get it? You’re the point of all this. Klaus and Elijah running all over town? It’s all for you. I’m a bit envious.
Hayley: Great. Lucky me.

Josh: [to Davina] Have I told you that you’re awesome? Cause you are, along with the sun, daylight rings, that guy jogging in a tank top…
