HET IS HOMECOMING — Nu Homecoming bijna nadert, vraagt Elena Liam mee naar een feest een een mais doolhof. In plaats van de festiviteiten bijwonen is Caroline Stefan aan het helpen, die onverwachts haar hulp vraagt bij het opruimen van Enzo’s rommel. Wanneer Alaric Elena’s advies opvolgt om meer sociaal te zijn, gaat hij met tegenzin naar het feest. Maar wanneer een vernietigend ongeluk zich voordoet zijn hij en Jo snel erbij om levens te redden. Tyler beland in een gevaarlijke positie wanneer zijn weerwolven vloek wordt getest, en een emotionele Stefan biecht aan Caroline op waarom hij Mystic Falls verliet. Intussen doen Bonnie en Damon een belangrijke ontdekking in hun zoektocht naar huis.
