EEN SCHUILPLAATS IN HET BOS — Wetende dat het een kwestie van tijd is voordat Klaus achter hen aankomt neemt Mikael Davina mee naar het huis van haar familie in het bos. Nadat Hayley een tip ontvangt dat Vincent nietsvermoedend tieners werft voor een weerwolven leger, schakelt de hulp van Elijah en Marcel om hen te redden. Wanneer Cami Klaus per ongeluk inlicht waar Davina zich bevindt gaat ze met hem om er achter te komen waarom hij zo’n diepgewortelde haat heeft voor zijn ouders. Op aandringen van zijn moeder vraagt Kaleb Davino om hulp om de missende White oak stake te vinden, maar is overrompeld door een gevaarlijke ontmoeting in haar familiehuis in het bos. Als laatste opent Josh zich naar onverwachtte bondgenoot, terwijl hij nog steeds moeite heeft om te accepteren dat hij een vampier is .
