Sara is gecast in de nieuwe film ‘War For The Planet Of The Apes’, het verolg op de film ‘Dawn Of Planet of the Apes’ uit 2014. Het is nog niet bekend wanneer de opnames en release van de film zullen zijn.

The simian army’s ranks continue to swell, as Hell On Wheels actress Sara Canning has joined the cast of War For The Planet Of The Apes. She’s set to play a new ape character — though, as is par for the course with the production, details about her character and the role she’ll play have not been revealed. The film does, however, pick up after the events of 2014’s Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, and sees returning star Andy Serkis as Caesar joined by Gabriel Chavarria, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn and the recently announced Aleks Paunovic.

War For The Planet Of The Apes is produced by Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping of Chernin Entertainment, joined by TSG Entertainment. Dylan Clark, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver also are producing, and it’s directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mark Bomback. In addition to Hell On Wheels, Canning recently was seen in The Right Kind Of Wrong with Ryan Kwanten and Catherine O’Hara, the TV series Remedy and CW’s The Vampire Diaries. Nina is gecast in de komedie ‘Çrash Pad’, opnames zullen in Vancouver zijn. Nina liet enkele dagen geleden weten tijdens een event dat ze binnenkort voor een rol haar haren zou knippen?! Dus wie weet is het voor deze rol :)

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” star Domhnall Gleeson, Christina Applegate, Thomas Haden Church and Nina Dobrev are starring in the romantic comedy “Crash Pad,” which has started shooting in Vancouver, Variety has learned exclusively.

Wonderful Films, Indomitable Entertainment, and Windowseat Entertainment are the production companies. Kevin Tent, the Oscar-nominated editor on Alexander Payne’s”The Descendants” and “Nebraska” is making his directorial debut with a Black List script by Jeremy Catalino.

Gleeson stars as a hopeless romantic who thinks he’s found true love with an older woman, played by Applegate — only to learn that she’s married and that his fling is merely an instrument of revenge against her neglectful husband, played by Church. He threatens to blackmail her by telling her husband but his plan backfires when the husband decides the best way to get back at his wife is to move in with Gleeson’s character and adopt the slacker’s life of debauchery.

Payne, who directed Haden Church in “Sideways,” is executive producing. Producers are William Horberg of Wonderful Films and Lauren Bratman. Besides Payne, the other exec producers are Dominic Ianno, Jon Ferro and Stuart Pollok of Indomitable Entertainment, Joseph McKelheer and Bill Kiely of Windowseat Entertainment, and Vicki Sotheran of Sodona Entertainment.

“As an editor, Kevin Tent has helped craft some of the great performances of the last decades,” said Horberg. “He is a natural storyteller, and I can’t wait to see what he does with this wonderful cast and Jeremy’s hilarious script. And of course he can always fix it in post!”

“I agree with Bill, except for the last thing,” said Payne.
