Danielle is gecast in de nieuwe komedie film ‘You Can Choose Your Family’, de productie van de film is al begonnen in NYC>

Danielle Campbell, who starred as Davina Claire for four seasons on CW’s The Originals, has joined first-time feature director Miranda Bailey’s comedy You Can Choose Your Family, from Imagine Entertainment and Cold Iron Pictures. The film, which is currently in production in New York, stars Jim Gaffigan along with Anna Gunn, Samantha Mathis, Alex Karpovsky and Logan Miller.

The pic follows 17-year-old Philip (Miller) who, while on spring break, learns his overly protective father Frank (Gaffigan) is living a double life. Campbell plays Allison, a high school beauty and “It” girl of her senior class.

Glen Lakin wrote the screenplay, which was further developed by Bailey. Imagine’s Karen Kehela Sherwood and Cold Iron’s Amanda Marshall are producing with Ron Howard and Brian Grazer serving as exec producers.

Campbell, whose film credits include Race To Win and Madea’s Witness Protection, is repped by Cunningham Escott Slevin & Doherty and Primary Wave Entertainment.

Nadat Claire Holt liet weten toch niet aanwezig te kunnen zijn bij de BloodyNightCon Conventies in Brussel en Barcelona, hebben helaas ook Ian Somerhalder en Daniel Gillies laten weten niet te kunnen komen. Een week voordat de conventie plaats vind blijkt dat ze door werkschema’s het niet voor elkaar krijgen om bij de conventie aanwezig te zijn. Zo heeft Daniel een nieuwe film geboekt waarvoor de opnames deze week nog beginnen in Toronto, Canada.

Gelukkig voor de mensen die naar de conventie gaan heeft de organisatie KLZ ook ditmaal weer hun best gedaan om vervanging te vinden en dit is gelukt! Paul Wesley (gehele weekend) en Charles Michael Davis (alleen zondag) zullen nu aanwezig zijn op de conventie! Barry Manilow forced to cancel two concerts
His story: Michael Malarkey is a true citizen of the world – he was born in Lebanon, raised in Ohio US, groomed in London UK and now based in Atlanta USA.

Perhaps it is his multi-national nature that explains why his music is so dang hard to nail down in terms of genre – which could loosely be described as folk-tronica due the the ever-presence of an acoustic guitar among a rather warped musical backdrop.
He released his debut Feed The Flames EP back in 2014 which his by-then-already considerable fan base were all too happy to bring close to their hearts.

So far this year Michael has released two singles – Scars and Mongrels – which are the first from his debut album, also called Mongrels, due for release on 8 September.

What’s so great about him? If you’re a fan of hit US TV drama The Vampire Diaries – let’s face it, it’s nigh on impossible to avoid it these days – you’ll likely already be familiar with him. He plays Lorenzo ‘Enzo’ St. John.
Suffice to say, Mr Malarkey isn’t exactly dependent on conventional means of acquiring a fanbase to act as an immediate audience for his imminent album release.

That is not to say that he’s your cliched actor suddenly trying his hand at music to up the fame stakes – he has managed to accrue significant critical acclaim from his musical peers courtesy of just how well-written, recorded, produced and generally ambitious his music is.

In our mind, Michael is as legitimate and pensive an artist as you can get.

What will he be doing in 2017? Releasing an album.
Debut LP Mongrels is released unto the world in September this year, and in between all that expect more singles and those all-important live dates to be announced shortly.

Nina was afgelopen maart te zien in een aflevering van de tv-serie ‘Workalholics’, foto’s en screencaptures hiervan staan nu in de galerij. Ze liet november vorig jaar al via haar instagramaccount weten een gastrol te hebben in de Comedy Central serie.
