De eerste afleveringstills van Nate’s nieuwe serie Significant Mother zijn verschenen, de serie is vanaf 3 augustus te zien op The CW.
Sometimes, when a young restauranteur goes away, he comes home to discover that his super hot best friend has fallen for his mother. It’s just how life works … at least, in The CW’s upcoming comedy Significant Mother.
EW has an exclusive first look at the show, in which Josh Zuckerman plays Nate, the poor fellow who returns home to discover that his friend Jimmy, played by The Vampire Diaries’ Nathaniel Buzolic, has swept his mother (Krista Allen) off her feet. But that’s only the beginning of Nate’s problem. The real issue comes later, when Nate’s father (Jonathan Silverman) decides he wants to get back together with his ex.
And if the photos are any indication, things are about to get real awkward for Nate.

The combination of beauty, intelligence and talent is rare to find in the modern silver screen siren, but Claire Holt has a hearty helping of all three while still maintaining stars in her eyes and a passion for her craft. Mostly known as the impetuous blonde vampire Rebekah in The Originals, Holt has taken the courageous step away from her familiar character to explore new roles in bold new projects set to air this month. But don’t worry; Rebecca is still very much a part of the dynamic trio, as we have seen her appear for a guest role in this recent season finale. “I came back for the finale and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it. It was really nice to sort of come full circle. I really love playing Rebecca. She’s really special to me. I hope to continue to do her along with my other projects. Any time that the three Originals are together, myself, Joseph Morgan and Daniel Gillies, there’s some sort of chemistry that happens that I think is really special, albeit dysfunctional. We love to shoot scenes together and I think those are some of my favourite moments.

Het is al bekend welke cast en crewleden van ‘The Vampire Diaries’ en ‘The Originals’ naar de Comic Con Conventie zullen gaan in San Diego volgende maand. Deze zal plaatsvinden van 9-12 juli, al is het nog niet bekend wanneer precies de panels van beide series zullen zijn.

Seizoen 6 van The Vampire Diaries en seizoen 2 The Originals zullen beide op 1 september op DVD & Blu-Ray verschijnen in Amerika. Ik verwacht dat beide seizoen net als de vorige seizoen rond december te koop zijn in Nederland en België, ze zijn al wel al te reserveren op o.a. Bol.com.
