Torrey heeft besloten de serie ‘Chigago Med’ na 6 seizoen te verlaten.
Chicago Med actress Torrey DeVitto on Wednesday addressed her impending exit from the NBC drama in a heartfelt message to fans.
“All good things must come to an end,” she wrote on Instagram, less than an hour after news broke that both she and co-star Yaya DaCosta would not be returning for Season 7. “It has been such an honor and pure joy to bring Dr. Natalie Manning to life for all of you on Chicago Med for the past 6 seasons. But it is now time for me and her to bow out and say goodbye.
“Thank you to all you loyal watchers who adored her as much as I did,” DeVitto added. “I can’t wait to share what’s to come with all of you. New adventures await!”
Both actresses, DeVitto as Dr. Manning and DaCosta as nurse April Sexton, have walked the halls of the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center since the Dick Wolf-produced drama debuted on NBC in 2015. The characters have significant ties to the other shows in the One Chicago universe, appearing in several episodes of Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.
The rest of the Chicago Med cast — S. Epatha Merkerson as Sharon Goodwin, Oliver Platt as Dr. Daniel Charles, Nick Gehlfuss as Dr. Will Halstead, Brian Tee as Dr. Ethan Choi and Marlyne Barrett as nurse Maggie Lockwood — are all expected to return for Season 7, though their contracts are currently being negotiated.
Torrey is aan het daten met David Ross, de manager van Chigago Cubs en voormalig baseball speler.
ew couple alert! Torrey DeVitto revealed she’s dating Chicago Cubs manager David Ross — and she’s definitely into the new romance.
“Love him madly,” the Chicago Med star, 36, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, May 8, alongside a black and white photo showing her kissing the Dancing With the Stars alum, 44, on the cheek. She also referred to Ross as her “boyfriend” in an Instagram comment on a recent selfie. In the same post, she drew a heart around his head.
“My boyfriend’s team was playing in Cincinnati this weekend!” DeVitto wrote. “The river walk was beautiful! Loved it!”
Friends and fans were eager to share their excitement for the new couple.
“Oh well, look at that…Home Run!” actress Margaret Colin commented on the photo. “Omg this makes me SO happy! You have no idea how much my family LOVES him ❤️❤️❤️,” Rachel Melvin added.
Most recently, the New York native was dating Will Estes. While the former couple didn’t formally announce their breakup, all photos of each other have been deleted from their social media accounts. The Vampire Diaries alum and Blue Bloods actor had confirmed their romance in October 2020.
“We like to keep pretty private about our plans and what we do and stuff. So I don’t want to speak too much on it, but yeah, it’s pretty incredible,” DeVitto told Us Weekly at the time.
The former baseball player, for his part, was previously married to Hyla Ross. The pair wed in 2005 and share three children: Cole, Landri and Harper. David confirmed his divorce had been finalized in February 2020 during an interview with the Chicago Sun-Times.
Last fall, the Chicago P.D. star told Us that it’s important whoever she dates shares her passion for advocacy.
“I don’t think I’d be able to connect with somebody who didn’t have a passion of either giving back or wanting to use their good to help the world in whatever way they could,” she said. “We’re in such dire times that it’s like, if you can turn a blind eye to anything that’s going on with the planet, with other human beings, with animals, then to me, it’s like, I don’t know that there would be much for me to connect on.”
Candice heeft in een interview aangegeven het wel zien zitten om terug te keren als Caroline Forbes in ‘Legacies’.
“Yes…I always just say yes. And obviously, COVID changed things and the way that things were filming, so those invitations might even be a little delayed, you know. But, uh, yes. Absolutely. Absolutely.”

Melvin Gregg (The United States vs. Billie Holiday), Bradley Whitford (The Handmaid’s Tale), Alice Braga (The Suicide Squad) and Danielle Campbell (Tell Me a Story) have signed on to star in Share, an innovative sci-fi pic from The Traveling Picture Show Company, Wavemaker Creative and award-winning commercial director Ira Rosensweig.
Scripted by Benjamin Sutor, Rosensweig’s debut feature follows a man who awakens to find himself stripped of all his possessions, and trapped in a bare room. Aided by a primitive computer, he must learn to survive in his new isolated existence where entertainment is the only currency.
While the actors’ roles have not been disclosed, we hear the indie will be brought to life using “unique and immersive” filmmaking techniques. Given that each character in the story is physically isolated, the shoot (which is currently underway) called for the construction of multiple identical sets with integrated camera systems, teleprompters, and live event technology. The system designed for the project allows the actors to fully interact both with each other and the computer interface central to the story in real time, while giving the director and crew a precise pre-visualization of the finished product.
Kevin Matusow and Carissa Buffel of TPSC are producing Share alongside Rosensweig. Executive producers include Gregg, INE Entertainment’s Eric Day, Five All in the Fifth’s Douglas Banker, Underground’s Trevor Engelson, Steven Chester Prince, Thomas Giamboi, Bruce Cummings, Jeff Stevens and Tyler Neenan.
Best known for his turn as Manboy on FX’s Snowfall, Gregg recently appeared in Season 2 of Netflix’s mockumentary American Vandal, as well as Hulu’s Oscar contender The United States vs. Billie Holiday, Warner Bros’ The Way Back and Netflix’s High Flying Bird. His TV credits also include Hulu’s Freakish and Lifetime’s Unreal, and he will next be seen in Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers, an adaptation of the latest book by Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty.
A three-time Emmy winner, Whitford’s TV credits include The West Wing, The Handmaid’s Tale and Transparent. On the film side, he has appeared in Jordan Peele’s Get Out, Steven Spielberg’s The Post and many more. Whitford, who recently wrapped production on Lin-Manuel Miranda’s feature tick, tick…Boom!, can currently be seen in Handmaid‘s Season 4.
A native of Brazil, Braga recently lent her voice to Oscar-winning Pixar feature, Soul. On the TV side, the actress currently stars in USA Network’s drama, Queen of the South. She also recently appeared in the HBO series We Are Who We Are, from Luca Guadagnino. Up next, she will appear opposite Margot Robbie, Idris Elba and Viola Davis in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.
On the small screen, Campbell appeared in Aaron Kaplan’s thriller Tell Me a Story opposite Billy Magnussen, Paul Wesley and Kim Cattrall; the CW”s The Originals; and Freeform’s Famous in Love. Her feature credits include Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection, Disney’s Prom and more.
Gregg is represented by CAA and 3 Arts Entertainment. Whitford is repped by ICM Partners and Greenlight Management. Braga is repped by WME. Campbell is repped by ICM Partners, Luber Roklin Entertainment and Industry Entertainment. Sutor is repped by Underground. Rosensweig is repped by ICM Partners.
The ‘Vampire Diaries’ stars’ new four-grain whiskey has only been available for a few days online — and it’s already one of the toughest bottles to get your hands on

ONE MORNING EARLIER this spring near Los Angeles, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley are Zooming in from their new office space while, they explain, construction is going on outside. The veteran Vampire Diaries stars, who played the Salvatore brothers on the popular CW show, aren’t on set to film anything right now — instead, they’re gearing up to release the new, highly-anticipated whiskey they co-founded, called — what else? — Brother’s Bond Bourbon.
For a whiskey that few have tried yet, it’s already proving to be a smash-hit. The four-grain bourbon whiskey hit record numbers when it went on pre-order on the site ReserveBar in fall 2020 and in early 2021. And now, whiskey lovers can finally buy a bottle online (when the site can keep it in stock).
Creating the whiskey from the ground up has been a labor of love for the duo, and it became another chance to work together following their run on eight seasons of one of the hottest series on TV (the complete series is available now on Amazon) The market for celeb liquor brands seems to be getting more crowded by the minute, but as the two telling Rolling Stone, this new release is made for bourbon lovers, by bourbon lovers.
“There’s a lot of alcohol brands out there and more specifically, in recent years, there’s been a real surge of sort of quote-unquote ‘celebrity-endorsed brands,’ whether it’s a musician or an actor or an athlete,” Wesley says. “And, I think the thing that really distinguishes us…”
“Where do you fall?” Somerhalder interrupts. “You’re a celebrity? Are you calling yourself a celebrity?”
“I was more referring to you,” Wesley says.
Jokes aside, this whiskey has been years in the making for the two actors.
“I think the thing that distinguishes us is that Ian and I, we drank bourbon on the television show that we did and we fell in love with it,” Wesley says. “We shot the show in the South. Our characters drank bourbon on the show. We drank bourbon off-screen. We bonded on-screen, we bonded off-screen drinking bourbon, and so when the show ended, we had been talking about creating a bourbon for years. When the show ended, it was just the perfect time to do it. And so everything you see here, the label, the bottle, the name…”
“Obviously the liquid,” Somerhalder adds.
“… and certainly the mash, it’s all our creation, everything,” Wesley says. “We put this thing together and so for us, it’s just felt incredibly organic.”
The release of Brother’s Bond has been a long time coming. And recently, Somerhalder and Wesley had to be in constant virtual communication when working through the pandemic leading up to the May launch date.
“There’s thousands of messages a week,” Somerhalder says. “We are never not in contact. I mean, there’s not a 20-minute space in time that goes by that we’re not in contact with either each other or our team, which is pretty wild.”
“I just send him selfies, nothing to do with bourbon,” Wesley jokes.
Somerhalder continues. “But for two dudes who spent eight years together, literally 10 months a year, every day, to then be this connected, it was a mistake. [laughs] But the bourbon is fucking great.”
Brother’s Bond Bourbon is an 80-proof straight bourbon that some, including this whiskey drinker, might sum up as an incredibly smooth, super drinkable spirit, tasty enough that whiskey lovers will want to pour it neat or on the rocks. But as Wesley and Somerhalder point out, you can find a list of drink recipes on their site if you’re craving a whiskey cocktail, too, from a classic Brother’s Fashioned to a simple Brother’s Julep.
“For two dudes who spent eight years together, literally 10 months a year, every day, to then be this connected, it was a mistake. But the bourbon is fucking great.”
The name “Brother’s Bond Bourbon” is, of course, a nod to their Vampire Diaries characters, with a label that shows two people sitting under a tree. But the guys say the theme goes well beyond just the show.“Our characters bonded on-screen over bourbon,” Somerhalder says, “he and I bonded off-screen over bourbon, and now to think that new bonds — random people meeting — [to] old bonds, families, friends, brothers, sisters, dads, moms, aunts, uncles getting to just have conversations, holding our bourbon in their hands… that’s pretty special, man, you know?”
Brother’s Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey is available now to order on ReserveBar.

Ahead of its anticipated Season 1 finale on Friday, Amazon Studios has renewed Robert Kirkman’s Invincible for two more seasons. Seasons 2 and 3 of the adult animated series will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
“I’m extremely thankful to Amazon for the support and dedication they’ve put behind Invincible,” said Kirkman. “The comic book is truly a love letter to a genre that Cory [Walker] and I grew up reading and loving, and it’s been a gratifying journey to watch our characters come to life again through the animated series. We’re beyond excited to continue this story for at least two more seasons.”
Based on the Skybound/Image comic by Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, Invincible is an hourlong, animated superhero show that revolves around 17-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age — except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father’s legacy might not be as heroic as it seems.

Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies have finalized their divorce, PEOPLE can confirm.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, a Los Angeles judge signed off on the actors’ divorce on March 10, nearly two years after the couple split in June 2019.
Per the documents, the She’s All That star, 41, and the Vampire Diaries alum, 45, will share legal and physical custody of their two children: daughter Charlotte, 7, and son Theodore, 5. They will also share equal custody and costs of their two dogs and two cats.
Neither star will receive spousal support, the documents state.
The exes also finalized their property agreements: Cook will keep ownership of their home in Redondo Beach, California and retain a 2020 Audi and her personal items, while Gillies will keep his 2019 BMW, the title and interest associated with Lovesfool Productions, Inc. and his personal items, according to the documents.
Cook and Gillies will share profits of their $1.9 million family home in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles that they are selling.
Cook and Gillies announced their separation after 15 years of marriage in a joint statement in June 2019. Gillies filed for divorce in July 2020.
“With deep gratitude for every year we have spent together and the thousands of beautiful memories shared, we have mutually decided to separate as a couple,” began the statement, which was shared to their respective Instagram accounts.
“This decision isn’t one we have come to easily or lightly. We love and respect each other as parents, people and artists and look forward to maintaining the best parts of our relationship for many years to come,” the statement added.
In August, Cook told Entertainment Tonight that while her and Gillies’ decision to split was “really hard,” the exes are “friends now” as they co-parent their two children.

Charles zal beperkt tot minimaal te zien zijn in het zevende seizoen van ‘Younger’ door andere verplichtingen en de corona-maatregelen wat het voor hem niet mogelijk om als vast castlid terug te keren in het laatste seizoen van de serie.
When Younger arrives on Paramount+ for its final season next month, two key characters will be spending less time in Liza’s orbit.
The first four episodes of Season 7 will hit the streaming service on Thursday, April 15, with the remaining episodes scheduled to drop weekly on Thursdays, Paramount+ announced today. (Update: These episodes will also be available on Hulu, following the same schedule.) The entire seventh season will also air on TV Land later this year.
But TVLine has learned exclusively that previous regulars Miriam Shor (Diana Trout) and Charles Michael Davis (Zane Anders) will only appear in a recurring capacity.
“Due to scheduling and Covid related matters, Miriam Shor and Charles Michael Davis were unable to be season seven cast regulars,” series creator Darren Star tells TVLine in a statement. “However, they will always be a much loved and integral part of the Younger family and have added so much heart and soul to the series.”
Shor has been a regular since Younger premiered on TV Land in 2015, while Davis was promoted in 2018 after recurring in Season 4. The show’s sixth season finale witnessed Diana’s wedding to Enzo, a romantic event that also brought Zane closer to Kelsey.
“In the final season, Liza’s personal life is on shaky ground as she tries to stay true to herself,” according to the official logline. “After a setback at work, Kelsey doubts her career decisions and discovers a new creative outlet. Maggie gets cancelled.”
