Nina zal te zien zijn in de vodcast ‘Giving Back Generation’, waarin enkele beroemdheden praten over voor hun belangrijke onderwerpen. De serie verschijnt 23 september en Nina zal te zien zijn in aflevering 6.

Selena Gomez, Nina Dobrev, Sofia Carson and Paulina Char are among the prominent celebrities signed on for an incredible all new social awareness series “Giving Back Generation,” hosted by Raquelle Stevens, which will debut exclusively on the social entertainment platform and app TaTaTu on September 23!

We wanted to give you a first glimpse at the series trailer that is being released wide this morning HERE. We think your readers and followers will really respond enthusiastically.

The series (roughly hour-long episodes) features groups of celebrity guests opening up and candidly discussing important issues and life lessons facing today’s teens and young adults – such as friendship, empowerment, inclusion, paying it forward, positivity, and more.

The series was born through a collaboration with producer Andrea Iervolino, producer/director Chiara Tilesi and Raquelle Stevens, because young adults and teens are struggling more than ever with finding their place and making a positive impact in the world around them. “ Giving Back Generation” addresses the ways in which they work to give back to their communities and others in their lives through their actions and positive self-expression. This is the first original project of the social impact division of TaTaTu. The series is Executive produced by Andrea Iervolino, Monika Bacardi and Chiara Tilesi.

EPISODE 6 – “BE A POSITIVE INFLUENCE” (NINA DOBREV)

In the sixth episode, Nina Dobrev unveils some of her most meaningful life experiences, from her somehow different background to the struggles of being a public figure. She also reveals her involvement in environmental charities.

The boom in the podcast industry over the last few years sometimes makes it feel like if you don’t have your own bi-weekly podcast by now, what are you even doing with your life? Maybe that’s why The Vampire Diaries alums Kayla Ewell and Candice King decided to split their time between acting and launching Directionally Challenged, a new podcast.

Any good Vampire Diaries fan knows that the two friends have practically been attached at the hip since the show first launched on The CW, back in 2009, and last year they decided to tie themselves even tighter together by launching a podcast that connects them more closely to their fans and also to some seriously useful advice that any good 30-something woman might need to know.

TV Guide sat down with Ewell and King to discuss how the idea of transitioning from TV to podcasting came about and how integral fans of The Vampire Diaries ended up being in their new project’s success.

How and when did you guys decide to launch this podcast together?
Kayla Ewell: We were definitely listening to podcasts at the time, and then we might’ve had a few glasses of wine and we might’ve been sitting on Candice’s bathroom floor.

Candice King: It was a friend’s bridal shower at my house. And we’d both been talking about all the podcasts that we were listening to. We were still acting, but we were just kind of feeling the audition crunch of it all. And we wanted to do something a little bit different and get out of our comfort zone. And with a little liquid courage, we were like, “What if we did a podcast?”

Ewell: Well, here’s the thing. We felt kind of lost in life and we felt like we weren’t exactly where we thought we’d be when we were in our 30s. And we realized, “Hey, if we feel this way, I guarantee there are so many other people that do as well. So, why don’t we start a podcast about it?”

In Quincy Fouse’s passionate pursuit to be cast in the role of Marvel’s Miles Morales, he wrote and executive produced an original not for profit alternate origin story titled Miles Away From Home. What was supposed to be a day of celebration for a teenage boy takes a turn for the worse when he wakes up past curfew, confused, and miles away from home. On his way home, cries from a young man in need stop him in his tracks as he also undergoes superhuman changes. Will the boy be a hero before returning to his concerned parents… does he even want to be a hero?
