Kaylee heeft via haar instagram laten weten niet verder te gaan onder de naam Kaylee Bryant en gebuikt nu haar echte achternaam Kaneshiro. Op 11-jarige leefdtijd besloot ze als actrice een andere achternaam aan te nemen als artiest omdat ze het advies luidde dat ze met haar echte naam niet geboekt zou worden voor rollen. Een besluit waar ze jaren later spijt van heeft en nu dus terugdraait.
