On acting and making music: The difficulty of having both professions is you have to feed both evenly, in a way, and keep the buzz going.
On TVD ending: Everyone always says it was bittersweet, but it was just fun. It was nice to have those last moments with people and really appreciate it and be present with everybody. After [Enzo] died he was still trying to convince Bonnie [Kat Graham] that it would be alright, and there’s something beautiful in that.
On the message behind his music: If it’s not apparent to you, then listen a little harder. There’s a reason why we put these feelings and emotions into song form. It’s because we can’t write about it; we can’t talk about it.

Torrey en haar vriend danser Artem Chigvintsev zijn na bijna een jaar daten uit elkaar. De afstand zou de reden zijn voor de breuk aangezien Torrey in Chigago werkt en hij in L.A.
t’s over. Chicago Med actress Torrey DeVitto and Dancing With the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev have called it quits on their relationship after one year of dating, sources tell Us Weekly.

A source close to Chigvintsev told Entertainment Tonight — the first outlet to break the news on Wednesday, May 10 — that the reason for their breakup was “nothing dramatic.”“Torrey broke up with him about a month or two ago, and Artem is pretty bummed about it. Torrey was over the relationship and the distance was a lot for them to handle,” the insider told ET. “She has been in Chicago filming Chicago Med while Artem is in Los Angeles for Dancing. Distance was a main factor.”
While Chigvintsev’s Instagram page features a sweet selfie with DeVitto, 32, from Saturday, May 6, the One Tree Hill alum has seemingly deleted all social media posts of her and her former beau.
As previously reported, DeVitto and Chigvintsev, 34, began dating in May 2016. The TV starlet’s rep confirmed their romance to Us after the duo were spotted getting affectionate at last year’s Philosophy Hope & Grace Luncheon for Mental Health Month in L.A.
Prior to Chigvintsev, DeVitto dated actor Rick Glassman was previously married to Vampire Diaries hunk Paul Wesley from 2011 to 2013.
‘The Originals’ is door de CW vernieuwd voor een vijfde seizoen! Dit nadat de kijkers ten opzichte van seizoen 3 iets zijn gestegen naar bijna 1 miljoen per aflevering. Het is niet bekend of dit ook een verkort seizoen wordt met 13 aflevering en wanneer deze in premiere zal gaan.

Malese Jow heeft een rol gescoord in het tweede seizoen van de serie ‘The Shannara Chronicles’!
Joining the MTV series are Vanessa Morgan (Finding Carter), Malese Jow (The Flash), Gentry White (UnReal), Caroline Chikezie (Everly) and Desmond Chiam (NCIS: Los Angeles). They join returning stars Austin Butler (Wil), Ivana Baquero (Eretria), Manu Bennett (Allanon), Aaron Jakubenko (Ander) and Marcus Vanco (Bandon).
Season 2 picks up a year later with The Four Lands in chaos. The re-emergence of magic has the populace terrified, and an organization called The Crimson is hunting down magic users, using fear and intimidation to sow discord among the races.
Morgan will play Lyria, a beautiful and mysterious, young woman who is romantically linked to Eretria. Jow will play Mareth, a volatile and unpredictable young woman with magical abilities. White will play Garet, a skilled, sly, and charismatic bounty hunter known throughout the Four Lands as “The Weapons Master.” Chikezie will portray Queen Tamlin, the powerful and cunning Queen of Leah, the only human Kingdom in the Four Lands. Chiam is General Riga, a once revered General in the Eventine’s army, Riga is now the leader of an extremist group of Elvin soldiers known as The Crimson.
