Nikki Reed heeft aan US Weekly bevestigd dat ze verloofd is met Ian Somerhalder.
“Ik heb zoveel geluk, ik hou van hem”, zei de 26-jarige Twilight-actrice.

De 36-jarige Ian zou vorige week zijn aanzoek hebben gedaan, ongeveer een half jaar nadat de twee een relatie kregen. “Hij is zo mooi van binnen en van buiten”, zei de verliefde Nikki verder over haar aanstaande. “Het is mogelijk dat hij de meest geweldige man op aarde ooit is.”

Het wordt niet het eerste huwelijk voor Nikki. Vorig jaar scheidde ze van American Idol Paul McDonald na een huwelijk van twee jaar. Somerhalder had tot 2013 een relatie van enkele jaren met zijn Vampire Diaries-collega Nina Dobrev.

Elsewhere, when a violent confrontation with Enzo (Michael Malarkey) leaves Jeremy wondering whether he should leave or not, Matt (Zach Roerig) finds his own life on the line after Enzo lures him and Sarah Salvatore (guest star Tristan Mays) into his dangerous plan. Lastly, Caroline rushes to the hospital after learning her mother has taken a turn for the worse.
